Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for the 6W Transplant Nephrology unit specializing in med/surg care, nephrology, kidney transplants, and dialysis. The role involves providing expert patient care in a 20-bed unit supporting complex nephrology cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient treatments including med/surg procedures and dialysis off-unit.
• Collaborate with virtual nurses for patient admissions to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document findings in Meditech system.
• Adhere to unit policies, including dress code in royal blue scrubs and safety protocols.
• Support patient-centric care with a focus on nephrology and transplant services.
• Maintain certifications and comply with hospital guidelines to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active ADN and minimum of 1 year clinical experience in medical-surgical, nephrology, or transplant units.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate competency in dialysis procedures and renal patient care.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including three weekend shifts per month.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Willingness to follow unit-specific policies and procedures.
