Job Summary:
Performs Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures within the cardiovascular lab, utilizing advanced equipment to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and professional support throughout each procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate diagnostic imaging and interventional equipment to produce detailed radiographs of the heart and vascular system.
• Position and prepare patients for examinations, providing clear instructions for optimal imaging results.
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures, including catheterizations and angiograms, ensuring procedural accuracy and safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functionality and image quality.
• Mentor and train staff on technical procedures, supporting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Contribute to hiring and promotion decisions based on performance and technical proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification and current state RT licensure.
• Possess a minimum of two years recent experience in cardiac or vascular imaging, with active interventional procedure background preferred.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fluoroscopy and advanced radiographic techniques.
• Exhibit strong organizational, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including after-hours, weekends, and on-call rotations.
