Job Summary:

Supports physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders by performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures. Operates specialized imaging and physiological equipment to assist in patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with complex cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures, ensuring proper setup and execution.
• Operate and modify technical settings on specialized equipment, including C-Arms and angiographic injectors.
• Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs during invasive procedures to ensure patient stability.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Support the team in administering opaque media via catheter or direct injection during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT-R Radiography certification required; Radiologic Tech (RT) license in CA or HI required.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting preferred.
• Valid BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• EPIC experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate specialized cardiovascular diagnostic equipment and maintain sterile environment.
