Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy support to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Assist in implementing therapy plans to enhance patients’ functional abilities and promote recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of occupational therapy treatments and activities based on individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and progress, and communicate findings to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and clinical observations.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and setting up treatment areas.
• Participate in team meetings to coordinate patient care and improve treatment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid certification or license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Demonstrate experience working with diverse patient populations in a healthcare setting.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit attention to detail and ability to follow treatment protocols.
• Be reliable and punctual, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to bring a state or federal-issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times, as required.
