Job Summary:

Provide occupational therapy assistant services within a skilled nursing facility to support patient recovery and improve functional abilities. Collaborate with the therapy team to deliver high-quality, personalized care in a conducive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists to assist patients in achieving therapy goals.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to promote autonomy and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and session details in compliance with facility protocols.
• Follow facility policies and professional standards, including dress code and attendance protocols.
• Ensure productivity goals are met, and coordinate presence in the building to guarantee scheduled hours.
• Adhere to established clinical procedures, including customization of care plans and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques relevant to skilled nursing settings.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, including fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with dress code standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
