Job Summary:
Seeking a Certified Scrub Tech with significant OR experience to support surgical procedures in a large teaching hospital. This role requires flexibility to float, work weekends, and assist during major holidays as needed, ensuring optimal patient care and surgical team support.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies for diverse surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Float between different ORs as required, providing support across various specialties.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of instruments and specimens.
• Cover holidays and weekends, working at least two out of four designated holidays.
• Complete bi-weekly orientation sessions and document all employment history comprehensively.

Qualifications:

• Hold current AHA BLS certification and NBSTSA credentials; CNOR preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, including prior travel assignments.
• Experience working in large, teaching hospitals with Level 1 trauma exposure within the last year.
• Demonstrate proficiency as a CV Tech in single scrub capacity for CT cases.
• Show broad knowledge of procedures including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro.
