Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients within the PICU. This float position requires flexibility to work across multiple pediatric units, ensuring high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for pediatric patients in the PICU and other pediatric units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float across Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU based on facility needs.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and manage advanced life support therapies such as ECMO and CRRT when required.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU nursing experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Demonstrate experience with advanced therapies such as ECMO and CRRT preferred.
• Be able to work 3x12-hour day shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Be flexible to float within scope to meet facility staffing needs.
