Job Summary:

Provide specialized pediatric critical care nursing services within the PICU, ensuring high-quality patient care for critically ill children. Float across pediatric units as needed to meet facility demands and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pediatric critical care treatments and interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, responses to treatments, and clinical progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Maintain patient safety by adhering to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Float within scope to pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU to support staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Valid BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only).
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in ECMO and CRRT preferred.
• Ability to float across pediatric units effectively.
• First-time travelers accepted with relevant experience.
