Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN for a float pool position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PICU and NICU settings, adept at providing high-quality care across various pediatric units.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing changes and intervening promptly to ensure safety.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and unit-specific protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in Epic and other electronic record systems.
• Comply with all certification requirements such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS; maintain valid licenses and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Be a licensed RN with a minimum of 2 years PICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrate recent NICU and PICU float pool experience and comfort working across various pediatric units.
• Hold current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Possess Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Be able to work night shifts (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Have Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification or be able to submit pending documentation.
