Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to patients, including evaluation, treatment, and monitoring in a hospital setting. This role requires versatility to float across various departments to meet clinical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and responses.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license prior to start.
• Possess a NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Have at least 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications at start date.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and acute respiratory care.
