Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care during a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves managing high-risk obstetric patients, performing procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients’ conditions, including high-risk cases and acuity levels.
• Administer medications, including epidurals and other pain management, following protocols.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as C-sections, SVD, D&C, and massive transfusions.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient interactions, procedures, and clinical notes accurately in EMR systems.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Texas or relevant state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in high-risk obstetrics or labor and delivery.
• Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required.
• CST certification is mandatory.
• Experience with complex obstetric procedures and EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with weekend rotations.
