Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols. Acts as a key member of the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications completed prior to end of orientation.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
