Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) / Special Procedures Technologist to join a high-acuity Level I trauma and stroke center. This role involves supporting advanced angiography and IR procedures in a state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular unit.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging and IR equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream.
• Assist with procedural tasks such as Permcath placement, port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data within the EPIC Cupid system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care for complex vascular and interventional cases.
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements, including uniform standards.
• Provide critical support during 4–10-hour shifts with on-call availability to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or RTR) with at least 2 years of IR or interventional radiology experience.
• Proven ability to manage critical care medications, including critical care GTTs.
• Demonstrated experience in stroke and trauma care procedures.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong understanding of vascular imaging and interventional procedures in a high-acuity environment.
• Ability to effectively work within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
