Job Summary:
Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma center. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately in the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit clerks to coordinate efficient patient flow and deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume emergency department.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before start date.
• Proven ability to perform advanced procedures and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.
