Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality treatment and support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Recognize and assess patient needs related to oncology care and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments following established protocols.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and responses accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Float among clinics as needed, providing skilled care within their scope and maintaining patient safety.
• Partner with specific tumor groups to coordinate examinations and follow-up care on designated days.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including completing required certifications and training.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ or Compact RN license active at the time of submission.
• At least 1 year of outpatient oncology nursing experience.
• BLS certification required at submission; additional certifications may be needed.
• Demonstrated ability to operate EPIC electronic health record system.
• Possess strong clinical judgment and patient care skills pertinent to oncology.
• Ability to work day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule, with flexibility for holiday coverage.
