Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care to outpatient patients in a fast-paced clinic setting. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver personalized treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in the EPIC charting system.
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and self-care.
• Partner with a specific tumor group, supporting exam days and outpatient visits.
• Float among clinics within skill set, adjusting to patient acuity and staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact nursing license at time of submission.
• Possess at least 1 year of outpatient oncology nursing experience.
• Maintain BLS certification; other certifications as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to work 4x10-hour daytime shifts, with flexibility for holiday coverage.
