Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring prompt and efficient treatment for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and adults. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality emergency services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to determine urgent care needs.
• Administer medications, including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedatives, following protocols.
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations quickly, providing life-saving interventions and support.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York RN license verified through NURSYS.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ED nursing experience, including PEDS.
• Demonstrate current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Have experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Be at least 75 miles away from the facility, with travel documentation required.
• Possess valid drivers licenses matching current address demographics.
