Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled assessment and intervention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Titrate vasoactive medications such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine.
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment including GE monitors, arterial lines, Flo-Tracs, and temporary pacers.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube removal, arterial line maintenance, and pre-op prep for cardiovascular surgery.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech Expanse system during bedside shift reports.
• Support unit operations with float policies and contribute to maintaining a safe patient environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong telemetry skills with experience titrating vasoactive medications.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Have experience with arterial lines, Flo-Tracs, and temporary pacing procedures (preferred).
• Be able to work 12 shifts per month, including weekends, with schedule flexibility.
