Job Summary:
Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to assess and enhance communication abilities in patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify patient needs.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive communication skills.
• Document patient progress and update treatment strategies accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and communication techniques.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA Speech Pathologist license.
• Possess a Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by ASHA (preferred).
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of clinical experience in speech therapy.
• Be trained in documentation and charting practices; previous experience not required.
• Be flexible to float between departments or settings as needed.
• Comply with background checks and state licensing requirements.
