Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide specialized outpatient infusion services. The nurse will deliver patient care in a dedicated outpatient infusion center, administering a variety of therapies for oncology patients in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies following protocols.
  
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions, addressing adverse reactions promptly.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient assessments, and care plans.
  
• Educate patients on medication self-administration, side effects, and post-treatment care.
  
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Valid New York State RN license required.
  
• Minimum of 2 years current outpatient oncology and infusion experience required.
  
• Certification in Chemo and Oncology Nursing (ONS) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required.
  
• Peripheral IV insertion, port/fistula/catheter experience, and IV certification highly preferred.
  
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a team environment.
