Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical unit to provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cerner EMR and hold current Ohio licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during night shift hours.
• Adhere to organizational policies on floating, holidays, and time-off requests, maintaining compliance with hospital standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR system required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification needed.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
