Job Description
Job Summary:
This is a travel Registered Nurse position specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a busy Cath Lab environment, supporting a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, pacemaker, ICD, and cardioversion.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures, including hold and post-procedure care.
- Utilize GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab EMR to document procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes.
- Take on-call responsibilities as scheduled, covering emergent needs outside regular hours.
- Adhere to unit policies, including prompt response to patient needs and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience.
- Hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring and peripheral diagnostic procedures.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
- Be able to respond quickly and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Ideally, hold experience with GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Meditech EMR.
