Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Radiology Technologist to support specialized imaging procedures in a busy hospital setting. The candidate will operate advanced imaging equipment and assist with interventional procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures including peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Operate GE Innova 4100 imaging equipment and manage documentation using MacLab and Meditech systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to prepare patients, set up equipment, and ensure procedural accuracy.
• Maintain certifications such as ACLS and stay updated on technological advancements in interventional radiology.
• Provide excellent patient experience and demonstrate professionalism in dress code compliance with hospital-provided scrubs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license with expertise in interventional radiology or special procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, cardiac cath lab, or radiology interventional procedures.
• Proven proficiency with peripheral angiography, angioplasty, embolization, biopsy, and related procedures.
• Must possess current ACLS certification.
• Ability to operate GE Innova 4100 and documentation systems effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
