Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, oncology-focused unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being through expert clinical practice and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe clinical changes to promptly address any concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medication regimens, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including chemotherapy handling and remote telemonitoring procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely within the Meditech electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current, unrestricted licensure.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
• Be certified in BLS; Chemotherapy certification is required.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and adaptability to unit policies and procedures.
