Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures with precision to produce high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis. Ensure safety, quality control, and proper documentation throughout each imaging session.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment utilizing appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure optimal image quality.
• Conduct daily calibration and quality control checks on all imaging equipment to maintain proper functionality.
• Prepare and inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals following physician orders and established protocols.
• Document all procedures accurately in logs, manuals, and charge documents to adhere to regulatory standards.
• Perform safety and quality assurance tests, following radiation safety guidelines in line with ALARA principles.
• Manage patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation, ensuring proper handling and retrieval.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an JCERT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Hold a valid New York State License (L.R.T) and current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience performing CT procedures.
• Maintain BLS certification and meet licensing requirements with NYS DOH.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CT procedures and patient safety protocols.
