Job Summary:
The Multi-modality Tech (CT/X-Ray) provides high-quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist is responsible for effectively communicating procedures to patients, ensuring competency, and producing diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and X-ray imaging equipment to capture clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Produce images meeting clinical and departmental standards for interpretation.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and equipment operation guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, doses, and patient information.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure optimal imaging workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification in Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
• Be registered with SCRQSA and maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray modalities.
• Be proficient in Siemens imaging equipment, EPIC, and PACS systems.
• Have a valid South Carolina license or demonstrate ability to obtain licensure.
• Maintain required radiation safety badges provided by the agency.
