Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) RN to provide skilled perioperative care within a busy Level I Trauma Center. The candidate will work primarily day shifts, with potential on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend shifts, supporting a variety of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedures across multiple specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including Radiation Badge and BLS certification requirements.
• Float between units and facilities as needed, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and comply with hospital policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities during hurricane season and other critical events.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience, scrub experience preferred.
• BLS certification and Radiation Badge required; Radiation Badge will be provided.
• Ability to work 3x12 day shifts with on-call and weekend rotations.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float within scope and cover holiday staffing needs.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and trauma level 1 procedures preferred.
