Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress and updates accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license or compact state license and submit proof with application.
• Minimum of 18 months of current, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate active certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Possess excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Provide a manager or supervisor reference from within the past 12 months.
