Job Summary:
The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, vascular, small parts, and general imaging, supporting patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as OB, vascular, small parts, and general US studies.
• Operate Siemens S2000 equipment with proficiency and ensure optimal imaging quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of scans and communicate findings to the radiologists or supervising physicians.
• Adhere to department protocols, safety standards, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize cases and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Complete departmental orientation and training, including shifts with a preceptor.

Qualifications:

• Possess current and unexpired WV State Diagnostic Medical Sonographer license.
• Hold ARDMS and/or RVT certification, with vascular or general certification as applicable.
• Have BLS certification and comply with all basic and specialty credential requirements.
• Demonstrate experience in arterial extremity Doppler and vascular ultrasound, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to start IVs when needed and work flexible schedules including 12-hour shifts.
• Able to provide a copy of a valid driver’s license for submission.
