Job Summary:

Provide specialized emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with clinical protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs, clinical status, and response to therapies.
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with current state registration.
• Demonstrate minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Possess at least BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Maintain certified EPIC EMR system experience.
• Be flexible to work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends and holidays as needed.
• Pass the mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam with up to two attempts.
