Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Trauma Center environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient progress using advanced cardiac monitoring equipment and document findings accurately in Cerner system.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and participate in ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or appropriate states.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume emergency department.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required prior to start.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
