Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy to support accurate medical assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and related imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Select appropriate imaging protocols and adjust parameters based on patient needs.
• Assess, plan, and deliver imaging services for patients across all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment routinely to ensure optimal performance.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations during all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess advanced certification in CT modality.
• Be licensed in fluoroscopy in the state of employment if required.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Preferably have venipuncture certification and additional state-specific licenses or certifications.
