Job Summary:
Provides unit-based leadership within the ICU, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Supervises and directs nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and positive patient outcomes. Focuses on enhancing patient satisfaction and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate clinical services in the ICU, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff and support team members to maintain high standards of care.
• Facilitate patient and family conferences to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, including infection control and emergency protocols.
• Participate in direct patient care when necessary to maintain quality and continuity of care.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience, with supervisory or leadership skills.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from an approved vendor; TNCC certification preferred.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
