Job Summary:
Seeking a Medical Surgical RN to provide exceptional patient care on a med-surg unit. This role involves supporting diverse patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to clinical changes, and document findings accurately.
• Perform procedures such as EKGs, Glucose testing, and Venipuncture with proficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for care planning and patient progress.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and dress code requirements.
• Facilitate patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia RN license required.
• BLS certification must be active and up-to-date.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a med-surg setting.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to floating policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
