Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with physicians, coordinators, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems, including Meditech.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• CPR certification required (BLS).
