Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a busy cardiac lab setting. Deliver expert clinical support before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer post-procedure care and monitor patient recovery in the cardiac cath lab.
• Collaborate with medical teams to prepare patients and equipment for cardiac procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and clinical observations.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations during procedures and recovery.
• Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.
• Support the training of new personnel and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or similar cath procedure setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Phillips and GE equipment used in cardiac procedures.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Show ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Have knowledge of Meditech and Mac Lab documentation systems.
