Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab to patients undergoing heart procedures. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes through skilled clinical interventions and support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment such as Mac Lab and Philips C-arm during procedures.
• Assist physicians in heart caths, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac interventions.
• Administer medications and manage patient vital signs throughout procedures and recovery.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in the electronic medical record (CPOE).
• Respond promptly to patient needs and complications, providing emergency interventions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Possess RCIS certification with minimum 1-year experience.
• Willing to take call and work flexible hours, including early mornings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in cardiac procedures and patient monitoring.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Meet all facility-specific health and safety requirements.
