Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment while adhering to hospital protocols. This role requires flexibility to accommodate weekend and holiday schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and record relevant observations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and procedures.
• Monitor patient responses and intervene when necessary.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays, including Christmas.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
