Job Summary:


The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT scans is responsible for executing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT technology. This role supports healthcare teams by providing high-quality imaging to facilitate accurate diagnoses.



Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans following established protocols to ensure precise imaging results.
  
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, adhering to safety standards.
  
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
  
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to achieve optimal imaging outcomes.
  
• Document procedures accurately within electronic health records.
  
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold current ARRT RT(R) credential with certification in CT.
  
• Possess an unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license.
  
• Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  
• Preferably have hospital-based imaging experience.
  
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Exhibit excellent patient communication and teamwork abilities.
