Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated MS/Tele RN with strong phlebotomy and IV placement skills to join a busy cardiac unit. The position involves providing patient care during day and evening shifts, utilizing EPIC charting, and collaborating with PCTs to deliver comprehensive nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for cardiac patients.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient symptoms.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage arrythmia-related emergencies.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and charting.
• Coordinate with Rapid Response Teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain proficiency in peripheral line care, oxygen therapy, and isolation precautions.

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant acute care experience in MS/Tele.
• Demonstrate competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.
• BC and BLS certifications required.
• EPIC system experience essential.
• Ability to work night shifts, with flexibility for float coverage.
