Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical units and demonstrate strong clinical skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes in compliance with facility policies.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed throughout all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, with at least one completed assignment.
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, with EPIC experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; additional trauma experience a plus.
