Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a Med Surg overflow unit, supporting post-surgical and observation patients. This role involves working with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to facility policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe changes in condition, escalating concerns as needed.
• Transition patients from medical-surgical care to team nursing model, supporting staff during implementation.
• Document patient care activities comprehensively in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state or a valid compact license complying with NLC guidelines.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment completed.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC documentation system.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (19:00–07:00).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
