Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) provides essential, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a high-volume, fast-paced ED setting. The role involves rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients with urgent and emergent conditions, ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments on patients with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent needs.
• Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity and initiate appropriate care.
• Provide rapid intervention, stabilization, and treatment for trauma, medical, surgical, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per hospital policies and provider orders.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS, and other team members.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma or compact license.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity environments preferred.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during high-stress situations.
