Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified CT Tech to operate computed tomography imaging equipment, ensuring accurate diagnostic images for patient care. This position requires clinical expertise and adherence to safety protocols within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens and Phillips CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and ensuring patient safety.
• Follow radiation safety standards, including proper badge use and exposure control.
• Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures within electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, ensuring timely completion of all imaging tasks.

Qualifications:

• Certified ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA credentials required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT imaging experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Siemens CT and preferred experience with Phillips CT equipment.
• Valid BLS certification required.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and accurately.
• Must provide radiation badge from agency; MUSC does not supply badges.
