Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified CT Scan Technician to perform advanced imaging procedures in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment. The technologist will be responsible for delivering high-quality CT scans while adhering to safety protocols and departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety guidelines, including radiation badge management.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and float within scope to meet departmental needs.
• Complete necessary documentation and charting accurately using Epic.
• Follow facility protocols for on-call coverage and floating to sister facilities.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) (CT) registration and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certification.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year prior experience, with trauma experience preferred.
• Be BLS certified and have Siemens imaging experience.
• Have a valid South Carolina license at start; pending licenses considered if application proof is provided.
• Demonstrate the ability to float across facilities and handle variable caseloads.
• Provide agency radiation badge prior to start, as MUSC does not supply one for travelers.
