Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, supporting mother and newborn health throughout childbirth and postpartum processes. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer maternal and neonatal care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs continuously.
• Assist physicians during delivery and perform postpartum assessments.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide education and support to new mothers regarding postpartum care and newborn care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with active licensure.
• Possess experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, including neonatal care.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (or STABLE preferred).
• Demonstrate knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and obstetric protocols.
• Ability to work 7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
