Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and post-partum periods. Ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns while coordinating clinical procedures and patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and recovery emphasizing safety and comfort.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring devices.
• Assist with high-risk pregnancies, surgeries, and emergency procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Proven expertise in high-risk obstetric care and immediate newborn procedures.
• Certification in NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required.
• Demonstrate strong communication, adaptability, and compassionate nature.
• Experience with Cerner EMR and electronic fetal monitoring preferred.
