Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units to provide high-quality patient care. The nurse will float within the hospital to different units as needed to support staffing demands.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor patients' conditions using telemetry equipment and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Float to different units within the hospital to meet staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Have current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient monitoring and IV skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour day shifts.
• Be proficient with Cerner electronic medical records system.
