Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide specialized care for surgical and medical patients. The clinician will deliver high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced hospital environment, focusing on patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, identify complications, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active WV or Compact RN license, with pending licenses accepted.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience with Med Surg or Oncology background preferred.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, all through AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV starts and patient assessment skills.
• Have reliable references from managers or charge nurses within the past year.
• Be geographically located more than 100 miles from the healthcare facility.
