Job Summary:
Provides specialized occupational therapy services with a focus on outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve patient function, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical and functional status, including muscle strength, motor function, and neurological health.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, modalities, therapeutic exercises, splinting, and education.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage pain, enhance safety, and improve daily function.
• Document evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries in compliance with organizational policies.
• Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations, Work Screens, and Driver’s assessments if qualified.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by AOTA.
• Valid Montana license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of two years of inpatient or outpatient hospital-based occupational therapy experience.
• Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, patience, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with strong problem-solving skills.
